Conex Compression fittings are especially advantageous in retrofit plumbing schemes, where space is confined and/or the use of heat must be avoided. They are available in 10-54mm and are suitable for connecting tubes in accordance with EN 1057 and many other standards including ISO 274. PTFE tape is not required for the installation process.

Conex Compression fittings are available in duplex brass and/or dezincification resistant (DZR) brass or as dezincification immune gunmetal. Fittings are also available nickel-plated or chrome plated in accordance with EN 248.

Conex Compression fittings are suitable for connecting a wide range of tubes including copper tubes in accordance with EN 1057 and many other standards including ISO 274. Fittings are also compatible with connecting low carbon steel, stainless steel and many types of plastic pipe including crossed linked polyethylene (PE-X) and polybutylene (PB) with size compatible outside diameters.

Conex Delcop End Feed capillary fittings are available in sizes 6-54mm and are suitable for connecting copper tubes in accordance with EN 1057 (formerly BS 2871: Part 1) and many other standards including ISO 274.

Delcop End Feed fittings are primarily designed for solder applications but, with the exception of Union fittings with copper tails, may also be brazed. For sizes above 54mm please refer to the section on Conex Delbraze and Conex Clyde ranges.

• Severe shock loads are absorbed by the valve body, not the ball and seat, minimizing the chance of uneven wear and leakage.

A ball valve is a valve that opens by turning a handle/Gear attached to a ball inside the valve. The ball has a hole, or port, through the middle so that when the port is in line with both ends of the valve, flow will occur. When the valve is closed, the hole is perpendicular to the ends of the valve, and flow is blocked. The handle position lets you "see" the valve's position.

Ball valves are durable and usually work to achieve perfect shutoff even after years of disuse. They are therefore an excellent choice for shutoff applications.
